Last night I made my way up to Nürnberg. Refugees were holding a hunger strike for eight days here. Since four days they also stopped drinking. After several of them collapsed and had to be transported to a nearby hospital they decided last night to eat again, but keep the protest tent up. The city of Nürnberg imposed the requirement on the refugees to start eating again if they wanted to continue their protest. Neonazis have showed up during the last nights and tried to conduct an attack on the protest tent, supporters told me on site.
