Following debates about refugees and migration the far right political party ‘AfD’ held a rally in the small southern-Bavarian town of Geretsried. Approximately 350 participated in the ‘AfD’ rally and 1000 demonstrated against the event.
Several known neo-nazis as well as the ‘Identitary Movement’ participated in the rally and where warmly welcomed by AfD functionaries. Identitary movement members shouting ‘Lügenpresse, Lügenpresse’:

The event focused on topics like: asylum seekers, membership in the European Union and Islam in Germany, as well as elections in some German counties today. Rapper Chris Ares performed two songs. After leaving the demonstration early with ‘bodyguards’ – usually operating as marshals at PEGIDA Munich. Chris Ares then returned running to pick up his payment from the AfD:

Police seized participants before entering the demonstration area and confiscated pepper sprays and several knives.
